REIKI FOR TWO

Human relationships of any kind are inherently complex and often challenging, with familial bonds standing out as particularly intricate. These relationships encompass the dynamics between parents and children, siblings, step-parents, step-siblings, as well as extended family members. Challenges may arise due to differences in personality, values, lifestyles, and opinions. Moreover, significant life events such as the arrival of a new baby, changes in financial status, severe physical illnesses or addictions, or the loss of a loved one can exacerbate conflicts and hinder effective communication, leading to a deterioration of relationships.

The nurturing energy and tranquil atmosphere of a Reiki session facilitate communication between individuals, fostering openness and honesty within a safe space. Remarkable healing has been witnessed in sessions involving parents and their adult children, estranged siblings, and even contentious in-laws. However, it's crucial to note that while Reiki can create a conducive environment for healing, it does not override free will; thus, each participant must be receptive and committed to the process for genuine healing to occur.

Furthermore, friendships have also been rekindled through the gentle guidance and compassionate energy of Reiki. In one instance, two middle-aged women sought a session with the shared goal of reigniting a close friendship they had cherished for most of their lives. A misunderstanding had driven a wedge between them a few years prior, when one of them mistakenly believed the other was having an affair with her husband. Hurtful words were exchanged, leading to a breakdown in communication. After years of silence, one of the women recognized the depth of her longing for the friendship and extended an olive branch by proposing a joint Reiki treatment. During the session, the women were able to release the negative energy stemming from the misunderstanding and rebuild trust. As far as I am aware, they continue to enjoy a steadfast friendship to this day.
